The Storm, Captured.

A moment frozen in emotion this is where chaos meets clarity. Every image, every line, captures the silent war within and the strength it takes to survive it.

My Journey

Author Bio

I Grew Up In Norwalk, California, With My Family. Like Many Teenagers, I Began To Struggle With Feelings Of Angst And Depression Around The Age Of 15. I Often Felt Lost And Alone, Like I Had No One To Talk To. During That Time, I Started Writing My Thoughts And Emotions In A Diary. It Became A Safe Space A Place To Release The Pain I Was Carrying. Writing Made Me Feel Lighter, More At Peace.

I’ve Always Had A Deep Love For Poetry, So I Began Turning My Thoughts Into Poetic Riddles. Even Though They Were Often Dark And Painful, This Process Became A Powerful Form Of Healing For Me. Over Time, What Started As A Coping Mechanism Turned Into A Passion.

It Has Always Been My Dream To Share My Poetry With The World. For A Long Time, I Didn’t Have The Right Tools Or Confidence To Make That Dream A Reality Until Now. Thank You For Being Part Of This Journey With Me.

These Pages Hold The Things I Couldn’t Say Out Loud.

Written In The Raw Space Between Teenage Silence And Young Adult Storms, This Collection Is A Mirror Of Isolation And Emotional Truth. In A World Where Pretending Feels Safer Than Being Honest, These Poems Bleed Quietly But Boldly An Escape When I Felt Most Stuck. If You’ve Ever Felt Alone, This Book Is For You. You’re Not Broken. You’re Not Too Much. Your Darkness Is Not Something To Hide.

Emily Payne This Is Not Just Poetry. It’s Proof That Your Voice Matters.
